All that glitters is gold

Over at Sassy Scrapper they have another beautiful mood board this month

2 Little boys

While tiding up I came across a picture of my husband and his brother outside their Nans house when they were little.  I told my girls and husband that it would be the next scrapbooking page i do.

D-Lish scraps July inspiration page was on my to do list, I had just received their just add paper kit and I couldn't wait to try it.

The kit made this really easy to coordinate all the colors.  I never thought i would use the paper bag and the library card/pocket  but I loved them and will be buying more of these in the future.

This is my layout.
I think most goodies  on here are D-lish so go check out their shop.

Thank you for the inspiration.

Show us your stuff - July Challenge

This month Show us your stuff had a beautiful winter inspired color challenge.

You may include as many (or few) of the pictured colours as you wish.

To clarify the colours - charcoal, mid blue, cream, light grey, teal.
(You may also include black and white.)

And of course, don't forget your handmade item!

Of course I almost forgot to use a handmade item and I didn't have a suitable blue item in my stash.  My beautiful friend shared many ways for me to make my own and I settled on a little twine flower.  I think it is really cute,  I will be making more of these :)
